Chapter One ~ Not Again!
"Ah, Sandworm Mating is such wonderful thing, don't you agree, Chaos?"
The raven-haired vixen addressed as Chaos rolled her blood-red eyes, leaned back against the jagged wall of rock and watched the cloudless sky without interest.
"Aren't you done YET, Chris? I find your interest in Sandworms mind numbingly dull."
The ghost sitting next to Chaos, notebook in hand and writing away as she watched the Sandworms, turned to retaliate when a loud retching noise sounded behind them and bespectacled ghost looked over her shoulder at the poor ghoul whose stomach was being tortured.
"Aw, come ON, Seline! Sandworm Mating isn't THAT bad." The ghost whined as Seline vomited again, lifting her head and swiping her brilliant bubble-gum pink hair off her forehead, her eyes sparkling like pink diamonds in the dusty sunlight.
"Come ON, Chris, this is SO gross! Can we go yet? We'll be late if we don't leave now."
Rolling her sea-foam green eyes, Chris packed her notebook up in her satchel, stretched her arms over her head until her spine popped, and sighed heavily. "All right, I'm done. Let's go,"
Chaos was on her feet in an instant, roughly tugging Seline up off her knees, and Chris looked up from rearranging her shoulder-bag, glancing around for someone.
"Come on Spica
Spica? SPICA?!" Chris looked around wildly as Chaos turned slowly in a circle, her eyes rolling over the yellow landscape as Seline sat down heavily on a dusty boulder, her legs still refusing to support her.
"Oh no, where is she?" Chris was beginning to panic as her charge, Spica, had seemingly disappeared.
Seline lifted her dizzy head and suddenly shrieked, "AHHH! THERE! THERE SHE IS!"
Seline pointed a delicate finger, topped with a glittery pink fingernail, down to the sandy ground below. A lone figure in a tattered black cloak was just a few feet away from a pair of wrestling male Sandworms, slowly trudging through the thick sand to get closer to them.
Shrieking in terror, Chris leapt down from the overhanging cliff, jumping off the boulders as Chaos simply floated after her, completely uninterested with the whole situation.
"Spica, DON'T touch them!" Chris screamed as the cloaked figure's pale hand brushed the Sandworm's scaly skin and, giving a horrible scream, the Sandworm turned its ugly head in their direction and dove for the cloaked figure.
"SHIT, not AGAIN! I DON'T need this!" Chaos growled as she dive bombed the Sandworm, half glad that they would be delayed in their visit to their 'family reunion', but furious that she now had to battle a furious Sandworm in heat.
"Oh, the joy never ends." Chaos mumbled sarcastically as she rolled her eyes and attacked the Sandworm head-on, knowing she was royally screwed for the rest of the evening.
As Chaos went for the Sandworm, Chris rushed forward, grabbed the cloaked figure by the hood, and sprinted away as Chaos hovered in front of the giant screaming worm, her eyes flashing in the dark yellow sunlight.
"You know, I REALLY HATE worms." Chaos smirked just slightly, drew her fist back and smashed the Sandworm's skull, right between its ugly eyes. It reeled back, gave one last terrible scream and it fell to the sand with a ground shaking *CRASH!*
Chris had returned to where Seline was still trying to regain control of her stomach, and Chris was scolding the cloaked figure in a mother-like way, glad that no harm had befallen her charge, but angered that her charge had done such a stupid thing.
"Spica, what were you THINKING? EVERYONE knows you NEVER go near Sandworms went it's their mating season. I'm glad you're not hurt, but you need to be more careful, okay?"
The cloaked figure remained silent, head bowed low and shoulders shaking slightly with undetectable sobs.
Feeling bad for yelling at Spica, Chris leaned down and hugged her to her chest as Chaos reappeared, shaking her hand and spraying dark Sandworm blood everywhere.
"Can we go NOW? I have to work tomorrow and I DON'T want to be out very late."
Chris nodded at Chaos, grabbed Spica's hand hidden underneath her baggy sleeve, and silently rose into the sky with Seline and Chaos following right behind.

Comments
Anyway, I did like it a lot. It was a little easier to follow characters this time.
One thing of advice, maybe. You have the character speaking, and then the next line you have "She said loudly." (just an example) When you have dialog, you should have the spoken words followed directly by the description: "Blah blah blah," she said loudly. For sentences, you use commas instead of periods and you don't capitalize the description after the dialog. For questions and exclamations, it's just regular, like : "Blah!" she shouted. or "Eh?" she asked. Stuff like that. Yeah, you shouldn't do line returns until that character's actions are done, and you move on to another character/topic. Blah, I'm sure you know all that already. I don't want to seem too preachy, so I'll shut up.
Looking forward to another chapter!
